Summer Fun!!!!
We've had such a fun-filled summer that we haven't had much time to update our blog. In this posting you will get a glimpse of some of our favorite highlights.

Look closely...Sophie's trying out her new glitter make-up that Aunt Linda gave her for her birthday and is evening modeling her new skirt. She's turning into such a girlie girl :)

Sophia knows her name now but when asked her age she says, "THREE"....humm....not too sure where that came from.

She loves Papa and hates to see him leave!

Here's Sophie sporting her new birthday outfit from Nanners.

And we made lots of fudge!!!!

Grandpa & Grandma Schley visited for Sophia's birthday and took us all up to Estes Park.

My 2 favorite men!

Sophie's getting pretty attached to Uncle Nick.

We saw lots of Elk at the top of the Continental Divide.

Uncle Nick (illegally) fed some chipmunks. Little did he know that fleas would be crawling over him on the car ride home.

Uncle Chad, Aunt Kelly, Carson, and Rowen came out for Sophie's pool party! It's was a blast.

Aunt Kelly & Rowen

Andrew sporting his new hat.

Josh showing off his budda belly.

And Sof' showing off her 6 pack.

Here are the Maassels & Papa in the pool.

Did Rodman really let the "papa's" take his new car for a spin?

Bubbles...bubbles....and more bubbles.

We had a second birthday party for Sophie when Nanners visited. She got a great Art Table & chairs from Nanners & Papa and a cool train set from the Maassels.

Jack helped put it together.

Think she likes it?

The kids played on Papa's computer....(not approved by Mom)....Thanks Dad!

Aunt Tricia & Papa....Sophie's two favorite people these days.

We've hung out at the Maassels ALOT this summer. They are just so much fun and they have the best backyard!!!

We went to Keystone for the 4th of July.

Made smores with the Hildebrands!

We've had lots of fun with the Hildebrands this summer. From playing in the water on our front porch....

...to summer lovin.....

....to body painting. It was a blast!

We also took a roadtrip with Daddy to Durango. While he worked Sophie & I strolled main street....ate lots of french crescents stuffed with yummie custard to homemade smoothies on the strip. We got to stay in this great historic hotel that was built right next to the RR tracks. So every morning at 9am we ran down and saw the famous Durango/Silvertown traing take off for the day. It was a huge steam engine. We hope we can ride it next year with the Maassels!

Sophie learned how to use chop sticks in Durango since she accompanied us on many dinners out...even with clients. A little nerve racking but she is a professional overall :)

Here's the train museum in Durango.

So I just have to show off my great spring flowers. They looked great in May & June but I need to work on some late flowers now because after these bloomed the rest of the summer we had nothing. Humm....gardening isn't as easy as it looks.

This summer Sophie actually fit into her big wheel. She loves it but hasn't figured out how to pedel yet. Hopefully next year because Mom's back can't handle another year of pushing this thing around the block.

And now we are already back to June. Our first visitors of the summer was Great Grandma Berthelson & Grandma Sherry. We just hung out all we and I learned that Grandma Sherry is quite the artist!!!
